Although I can’t say I am an expert when it comes to breastfeeding, I am an ardent nursing mom. Oh I’m loving it. And when I heard about the controversy about Facebook and banning breastfeeding shots, it bothers me. What’s wrong with breastfeeding pictures? It’s definitely far from nudity or obscenity!
I believe that mothers have the right to post their pictures and share their joy and experiences in breastfeeding their babies. Facebook’s standard of decency, for me, is not fair. A personal photo of a mother nursing her child would mean only one thing, she is a proud and a loving mom.
I hope Facebook management would see a better light regarding this issue.
