35 weeks

Just 3 weeks from now, I could go on labor anytime from that point. Little Ben would not be arriving prematurely then. Imagine, in less than a month, I will deliver this baby inside my belly and end this pregnancy. This pregnancy that has been a delight from the start. It has never been a difficult pregnancy. No vomiting, No morning sickness. No bed rest. I only had a slight shortness of breath and a mild fatigue at night. And oh some mood swings here and there. Nothing that I couldn’t handle. I was very fortunate to have a very “easy” first trimester. The second trimester went blissfully. I had no complaints whatsoever. And my excitement intensified when I entered my last trimester. I never expected that this is going to be the longest wait I’m going to have. The fewer weeks of waiting, the harder it is to wait.

Little Ben is getting bigger and his weight is increasing. I don’t know with you, but can you imagine yourself carrying a 5-pound watermelon everyday, anywhere? That’s how it feels right now. And every time I stand up or roll over the bed, my pelvic and pubic bones ache. The pain is excruciating! And my OB told me that its normal and I should expect the worse to come. That made my day.
