Still counting and waiting

Tomorrow I will be 35 weeks pregnant, and I am growing more impatient each day, I just want to meet my boy now, though I am still busy with buying his stuff. I don’t want him to arrive with some of the items in my shopping list left unchecked. So far, there are quite a few that needed to be bought. Just few little things, but IMPORTANT! There. I have to remind myself of that again, which I know for sure will make me go into panic mode. And automatically, I will nag my partner about it. But to no avail. He’s ultra cool about the whole thing. He will just tell me to relax. Fine. Relax. And then he will go into reminding me to cut my food intake. Diet. Blah. Blah. Arrgh!

Anyway, I had a dream about Little Ben’s arrival last night. It was kind of funny because Little Ben came out prematurely and all I was concerned of was that I was not yet done with my baby shopping! I woke up smiling and feeling funny about myself but upset because he wasn’t here yet. In my dream, I saw Little Ben, a newborn, and held him in my arms. But somehow I can’t remember how he looked like. Weird huh?

On a different note, my doctor visits have started to become twice a month. She hasn’t checked me for effacement or dilation. But I hope she does soon just so I can know if I am even anywhere CLOSER to being ready. I’ve been noticing contractions (or only in imaginations?), but nothing constant or painful. What is consistent is Little Ben’s stretching and moving inside me. Although uncomfortable and sometimes slightly painful, his movements have grown in me. I love it so much. I’m so happy whenever people would feel his movements as well. My Little Ben is strong and healthy and responsive. I just pray that he will continue to be like that until we meet in person.

And right now, I am feeling lazy to work and just wanna stay home and rest or go to the mall and shop, which I already did yesterday. And I’m thinking of doing it again tomorrow. LOL.
